Cochin is a beautiful town of tiled bungalows and antique warehouses. The city, founded in 1341 A.D. is divided into three distinct districts: the modern Ernakulam, the atmospheric Fort Cochin, and Mattancherry. The old-fashioned cobble stone streets of Fort Cochin lead to spice bazaars, ancient mansions, and charming Chinese fishing nets. The public walk way, near the jetty is dotted with eateries and shops selling antiques.
