Destination

"Ladakh, the Persian transliteration of the Tibetan La-dvags, which means "The land of High Passes” and also called the “The Land of Mystic Lamas", "The Broken Moon" and "The Last Shangri-La".

Contemporary Ladakh borders Tibet to the east, the Lahaul and Spiti to the south, the Vale of Kashmir, Jammu and Baltiyul regions to the west, and the trans–Kunlun territory of Xinjiang to the far north. Ladakh is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and culture. It is sometimes called "Little Tibet" as it has been strongly influenced by Tibetan culture.

Flanked by two of the world mightiest mountain ranges, the Greater Himalaya and the Karakoram, and it lies transversely to two others, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range.
Leh is one of the favorite tourist destinations located in the northernmost part of India. Lapped in the snow-covered fringes of the Himalayas, Leh has been the center of Tibetan-Buddhist Culture since ages. Its colorful Gompa have attracted the devout Buddhists from all over the globe. Besides, it is also a favorite hiking locale and is known for some of the best hikes in the country.

High Mountain passes:
Rohtang pass                            3980 MTS
